This week’s Parshah is Metzora. We discuss the rituals of how to purify yourself and rejoin the people. In these rituals we find an amazing concept. A man helps another man become purified before G-d. Furthermore The first man while doing so becomes impure himself.

This is an astounding idea. Two finite men can control each others spiritual connection to the infinite Creator. This is a reflection of the amazing connection between all Jews. Not only do we have a collective destiny, but we are so united that we can actually change each others spiritual status.

We must always remember all Jews are a single unit. We swim or float as a nation, one man with one heart, and one voice. And although one of us might falter form the path at one time or another it is the collective merit that saves us. On the other hand it is each one of our duties to watch out for our fellow Jews to help and encourage them to stay on G-ds path.

May we soon see the day when we all stand together physically and Hashem forgives all of our sins and we all return to our land with the coming of Moshaich.

This Weeks thought is dedicated to our Nosi the Rebbe Melech Hamoshaich whose 110th  Birthday is this coming Friday for over 61 years of Tireless leadership and total devotion to his Shluchim, his Chasidim, and all of Klal Yisroel. May we soon once again hear Torah from His mouth with the coming of Moshaich Bekorov Mammash. Amen
